AI solves one of math’s hardest problems in 88 hours, says OpenAI

OpenAI announced that one of its unreleased artificial intelligence models solved the Navier-Stokes problem, one of the world's most difficult mathematical puzzles, in just 88 hours. The work involved 10,000 AI agents and millions of dollars in computing power. The Navier-Stokes problem is one of the seven Millennium Prize Problems established by the Clay Mathematics Institute.
