Bandits attacked Dakwara village in Gwarzo Local Government Area of Kano State in the early hours of Tuesday, killing a vigilante and abducting a resident. The village head reported that the attackers arrived around 4:00 a.m., shooting sporadically and demanding motorcycles. The vigilante, Abdulmuminu Bichila, was killed while trying to rescue a boy who managed to escape. The bandits also stole motorcycles from a nearby village before fleeing.
