Retired academics and non-academic staff of Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology (BOUESTI) have appealed to Governor Biodun Oyebanji to address their pension crisis. In a letter dated September 7, they highlighted months of unpaid pensions and outstanding benefits, which have caused severe hardship. The pensioners, under the BOUESTI Pensioners Association, urged the governor to intervene as the university's visitor.
