The Nigerian Army has reported significant operational successes from July to early September, including the rescue of 11 kidnapped persons and the arrest of 21 suspects in July. In a joint operation around Kainji Lake National Park, 308 people were rescued, and additional rescues occurred in Kogi, Katsina, and Zamfara. Troops also recovered weapons and ammunition, including an RPG launcher and an AK-47 rifle, in Kaduna. These efforts align with the Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu's P.R.O.S.E operational framework.
