APM Terminals has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop the Badagry Deep-Seaport. The signing took place in Copenhagen during a visit by Nigeria's Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola. The project aims to provide additional deepwater capacity and accommodate larger vessels, boosting transshipment opportunities for Nigeria and West Africa. The MoU was signed by Vincent Clerc of A.P. Moller–Maersk and Didi Ndiomu of Badagry Port Development Limited.
