The Zamfara State Government has announced plans to strengthen public-private partnerships to attract investment and promote sustainable economic growth. Governor Dauda Lawal disclosed this at the 2026 Zamfara State Business Partnership and Economic Development Summit in Gusau, themed 'Strengthening Partnership Between the Zamfara Business Community and Government for Sustainable Economic Growth and Investment.' The summit was organized by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism. Lawal stated that the government would explore partnerships in areas such as industrial infrastructure, markets, logistics, renewable energy, tourism, and skills development, where private capital and expertise could complement government resources.
