Gimlet Labs, a three-year-old startup that helps AI developers run models on different AI chips, raised $300 million at a valuation of about $3 billion, led by Andreessen Horowitz. The round boosted its valuation 16 times from its last PitchBook valuation. According to a person familiar with the company, Gimlet executives told potential investors that OpenAI was likely to spend over $100 million annually on its services based on signed contracts. However, an OpenAI spokesperson said they are not a paying customer, though they have explored possibilities with Gimlet.
