France hosted the first international summit dedicated to the future of cinema and moving images, the Lumière Summit, on September 7th in Saint-Paul de Vence. Co-chaired by French President Emmanuel Macron and Korean President Lee Jae-myung, the summit brought together 200 high-level guests from over 55 countries, including Nigeria's Minister for Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa. Discussions focused on challenges and opportunities facing the sector, including the impact of artificial intelligence, media literacy education, and the industry's economic model.
