The Director-General of the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC), Otunba Oluwemimo Joseph Osanipin, has stated that the clean draft of the proposed National Automotive Industry Bill will be ready by mid or end of November 2026. He made this disclosure during a stakeholders' engagement in Lagos, where industry players reviewed the draft and provided recommendations. The bill is being developed through broad consultations with automotive experts, manufacturers, and government agencies. Osanipin explained that the process involves incorporating contributions from all relevant stakeholders.
