The Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) has begun engaging stakeholders to attract increased Chinese investment into Nigeria's oil and gas sector, aiming to boost revenue for the Federation Account. The Commission plans to hold an Oil and Gas Investment Summit in China, tentatively scheduled for the end of November 2026, to showcase opportunities to potential investors. Dr. Ekene Enefe, Chairman of RMAFC's Investment Monitoring Committee and Federal Commissioner representing Anambra State, stated that the initiative is part of efforts to expand the nation's revenue base.
