The Inter-Governmental Action Group Against Money Laundering in West Africa (GIABA) has called on religious leaders to take a more active role in combating money laundering, terrorist financing, corruption, kidnapping, human trafficking, and other crimes. GIABA Director General Mam Cherno Jallow made the call at a sensitisation seminar in Banjul, The Gambia. He emphasized that religious leaders' influence can promote ethical conduct and peaceful coexistence.
