Firm to bridge 26% financial inclusion gap

Open Space, a financial technology company, has launched new Ethical Finance products aimed at promoting financial inclusion, transparency, and shared prosperity. The initiative was announced by the company's Chief Executive Officer, Titus Ike, at a news conference in Abuja. According to the Enhancing Financial Innovation and Access (EFInA) survey, financial inclusion in Nigeria rose to 74% in 2023 from 56% in 2020, leaving about 26% of Nigerians financially excluded. Ike stated that the products are designed to make financial services more accessible to underserved Nigerians, with a focus on fairness, transparency, accountability, and trust.
