The Grassroots Movement for Tinubu Continuity Come 2027, a support group for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has expressed concerns over potential anti-party activities by former Borno State Governor, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, ahead of the 2027 general elections. The group's National Coordinator, Comrade Sani Ahmad Zangina, made the remarks during an interview with Arise TV. Zangina alleged that his concerns are based on Sheriff's political conduct during the 2023 elections, when similar issues were raised involving Sheriff and the then APC National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu. He urged the APC leadership to monitor Sheriff's activities closely.
