Bandits have attacked communities in Giwa and Kubau local government areas of Kaduna State, killing five persons, including three personnel of the Kaduna State Vigilance Service (KadVS), and abducting 27 others. The attack was reported by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN). Security forces are reportedly responding to the incident.
