Dangote Refinery swings to N2.55trn profit in six months

Dangote Petroleum Refinery reported a profit after tax of approximately N2.55 trillion ($1.82 billion) in the first half of 2026. The refinery's revenue reached about N19.47 trillion ($13.91 billion), with EBITDA of $2.60 billion. Average utilisation improved to 83.6% in H1 2026, up from about 45% at the start of the year. The results were disclosed in the prospectus for its planned initial public offering.
