The Presidential Initiative on Compressed Natural Gas and Electric Vehicles (Pi-CNG/EV) has stated that fears of CNG cylinder explosions are hindering the adoption of compressed natural gas as a fuel in Nigeria. The CEO of Pi-CNG/EV made this known, indicating that safety concerns are a major barrier to the widespread use of CNG. The initiative aims to promote cleaner energy alternatives in the country.
