The website of Nigerian online newspaper Politico.ng has been hacked, according to its publisher Lai Omotola, who linked the attack to the paper's projection of the 2027 general election outcome. The publication's Political Intelligence Group had projected that President Bola Tinubu would win in 20 states, while Atiku Abubakar would win nine, and Peter Obi was also projected to win some states. Omotola attributed the hacking to 'enemies of Nigeria'.
