The Bank of Agriculture (BOA) has launched a N200 billion Guaranteed Minimum Price (GMP) Programme aimed at protecting Nigerian grain farmers from depressed commodity prices. The Managing Director of BOA, Ayo Sotinrin, announced the initiative on Tuesday during the launch, stating that it would help stabilize the prices of staple grains in the country. The programme is designed to provide a safety net for farmers and ensure food security.
