Peter Obi, former presidential candidate of the Labour Party, has called on the Federal Government to intensify efforts to secure communities affected by terrorism and facilitate the safe return of displaced Nigerians. Obi made the call after visiting an IDP camp in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State, where he reported over 45,000 people displaced and more than 20 communities sacked by terrorists. The visit followed an incident in Benue State where his delegation was prevented from proceeding to Yelewata.
