Artificial Intelligence Featured Prominently Among the Priority Areas in the Bilateral Development Dialogue Between Lesotho and the Republic of Korea

Lesotho's Minister of Finance, Dr. Retšelisitsoe Matlanyane, met with South Korea's Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance, Dr. Jisung Moon, on the margins of the 2026 KOAFEC Ministerial Conference. The bilateral meeting focused on cooperation in artificial intelligence, digitalization, healthcare, education, agriculture, climate change, critical minerals, and infrastructure. South Korea encouraged Lesotho to use its Knowledge Sharing Program and consider financing through the Economic Development Cooperation Fund.
