FAO is expanding support for communities affected by the Ebola outbreak in Ituri and North Kivu, DRC, with funding from the DRC Humanitarian Fund. The project targets 30,000 people across five health zones until January 2027. The outbreak is worsening acute food insecurity in a region where nearly 10 million people are already affected, and FAO's response complements the public health efforts led by the Ministry of Health and WHO.
