A 54-year-old Customs officer, Prince Etteng Ise, died in a lone road crash on the Ikom-Calabar Highway in Cross River State. The crash was allegedly triggered by an attempt to avoid a pothole on the road. Ise, who served at the Mfum Border in Etung Local Government Area, lost control of his vehicle during the maneuver.
