NCGC Targets N100bn Credit for Women After First-Year Gender Gap

The National Credit Guarantee Company (NCGC) has launched an initiative to provide over N100 billion in credit to female-led businesses, following a gender gap in its first year of operations. In its inaugural impact report, women accounted for only 16.8% of beneficiaries. The company provided N21.59 billion in risk cover, unlocking N46.95 billion in loans across 25 states and the FCT, supporting an estimated 661,291 jobs.
