The Federal Government has disbursed the Consolidated Academic Tools Allowance to lecturers in federal universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education. This payment covers the period from January to August 2026. The announcement was made by the Minister of Education, Dr Tunji Alausa, in Abuja. The government also plans to extend the allowance to non-academic staff in the coming weeks.
