The Nigerian Army has redeployed top generals and appointed a new commander to lead the fight against Boko Haram. The redeployment was announced in a statement by army spokesperson Appolonia Anele on Wednesday. The statement said the deployments were approved by the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu.
