A Federal High Court in Lagos has adjourned until September 21, 2026, the hearing of applications in the case involving detained businessman and social media influencer Afolabi Kazeem Michael, known as KC Luxury. The adjournment followed arguments by counsel that the court should await a ruling from a sister court on jurisdiction. KC Luxury's lawyer argued that the NDLEA's order for 30-day detention did not mandate his continued detention for the entire period.
