The Southwest Development Commission (SWDC) has secured a provisional licence for the development of a rail network in the Southwest region of Nigeria. The SWDC boss announced that the commission is also exploring other major infrastructure initiatives, including energy security and an integrated road transportation system. These projects are part of broader efforts to boost regional development and connectivity.
