A 54-year-old Greek woman gave birth to a baby girl from an embryo that had been frozen for over 22 years. The woman, Christina Rapti-Tzelepi, had previously given birth to a son from the same batch of embryos in 2004, but he died in a road accident in October 2025 at age 21. The birth was confirmed by her gynaecologist, Konstantinos Pantos, who noted the emotional significance of the event.
