The Kaduna State Government has announced that the 2027 budget will prioritize human capital development, with special emphasis on agriculture, health, and education. Commissioner of Planning and Budget, Hon. Muktar Ahmed Monrovia, stated this during the opening of the 2027 Expenditure and Revenue Budget Defence. He noted that the budget will consolidate achievements from the past three and a half years and introduce a new focus on early child development for children aged 0 to 5 years. Social protection, security, and infrastructural development will also remain key priorities in the upcoming appropriation bill.
