The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) chapter at King's College, Lagos, has vowed to keep the school shut until the Federal Government reverses the concession of the college. The chairman of the unit, Samuel Enang, stated that the association rejects the concession because its members are employed by the Federal Government. The union's action has led to the closure of the school. The government has not yet responded.
