The South East Development Commission (SEDC) has pledged to prioritize the development of the poultry industry in the region. Managing Director Mark Okoye Jnr. made this known at the Eastern International Poultry Summit 2026 in Enugu. The commission aims to unlock agricultural potential, boost food security, and create jobs. SEDC's Executive Director for Natural Resources, Agriculture and Rural Development, Dr Cliff Ogbede, represented Okoye at the event.
