The Nigerian Army has announced a major redeployment of senior officers, involving movement of generals across various commands and departments. Major General IA Ajose has been appointed to lead the Joint Task Force North-East, Operation HADIN KAI, which oversees military operations against Boko Haram and other terrorist groups. The redeployment was approved by the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, to strengthen operational effectiveness.
