Apple has officially introduced its first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo, at a launch event held at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino. The device, which folds to the size of a passport, combines the portability of a smartphone with the larger display of a tablet. The iPhone Duo enters a market that Samsung pioneered seven years ago, and Apple is expected to capture a significant share.
