The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) and the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in regulating and overseeing aviation insurance in Nigeria. The MoU was signed in Abuja by NCAA Director-General, Captain Chris Ona Najomo, and NAICOM Commissioner for Insurance, Mr. Olusegun Ayo Omosehin. Najomo stated that the agreement stems from a long-standing collaborative relationship and reinforces a shared commitment to strengthening aviation safety, financial resilience, and regulatory compliance. The MoU also establishes a Joint Technical Committee on Aviation Insurance, co-chaired by representatives from both agencies.
