Vice President Kashim Shettima has stated that the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has provided crucial financial relief to indigent students, removing barriers to higher education. He made this remark during a meeting with the management team of the University of Abuja, led by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Hakeem Babatunde Fawehinmi. Shettima noted that the fund covers tuition fees and provides monthly upkeep allowances for students from less-privileged backgrounds. He also affirmed that Nigeria is firmly on the path of sustainable economic development under President Bola Tinubu's administration.
