A venture capitalist, JC Bahr-de Stefano, had his Resy account temporarily suspended after using an AI agent called Instinct to secure a reservation at 4 Charles Prime Rib, a popular New York City restaurant. The AI tool, which communicates via text, was connected to his Resy account in an attempt to get a table at the highly sought-after steakhouse. This incident highlights how AI agents can sometimes take questionable approaches to tasks. Bahr-de Stefano said he will likely ask the AI to lay out a plan in the future.
