OpenAI announced that its agents solved the Navier-Stokes equations, a 90-year-old math problem, using 130 billion output tokens and sending 2.7 million messages. The effort involved about 10,000 concurrent agents and took 88 hours to reach a resolution. The Clay Mathematics Institute has offered a $1 million prize for the solution, but OpenAI stated it will not accept the cash prize. OpenAI's CEO joked about the AI bubble in response to the achievement.
