The African Democratic Congress in Yobe State has accused the Yobe State Independent Electoral Commission of failing to properly notify the party about guidelines and activities for the 2026 Local Government Council Election. The party chairman, Umar Kalli Alhaji, expressed concern that this could undermine their participation and requested evidence of when and how the information was communicated. The ADC emphasized the importance of timely electoral information for effective participation.
