Kevin Mandia, the founder of cybersecurity firm Mandiant, has been appointed to Amazon's board of directors, expanding the board to 12 members. The appointment fills a vacancy left by Keith B. Alexander, who departed in the spring. Both Mandia and Alexander have extensive backgrounds in security, with Alexander having served as a general in the U.S. military.
