The organizers of the 1xCup 2026 football tournament have announced that the group stage draw ceremony will take place on September 11 at The Providence Hotel in Lagos. The event will be attended by tournament organizers, representatives of the 24 qualifying clubs, sponsors, and prominent figures in Nigerian football. The qualifiers produced thrilling matches and determined the strongest amateur teams competing for the trophy and a ₦20 million prize pool. The draw ceremony will also provide media an opportunity to interact with teams and players.
