Chelsea came from two goals down to defeat Leeds 6-3 in a League Cup third-round match at Stamford Bridge. After falling behind to goals from Tarik Muharemovic and Brenden Aaronson, Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso made key substitutions at half-time, bringing on Cole Palmer, Morgan Rogers, Pedro Neto, and Reece James. Palmer scored twice to level the match, and Neto put Chelsea ahead before Danny Welbeck added two more goals. Leeds managed a consolation goal through Dominic Calvert-Lewin, but Chelsea secured a dramatic victory to advance to the fourth round.
