A political dispute has arisen in Kwara State over the removal of campaign billboards belonging to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Engr. Suleiman Bolakale Kawu. The state government says the removal is part of enforcing signage regulations, while the PDP accuses the administration of suppressing the opposition. The latest removals occurred at Agaka and Adabata Junction in Ilorin, following a similar action at the Geri Alimi Underpass. KWASAA General Manager Toba Adeyeye stated that the agency's actions are not targeted at any political party.
