Cross River State Governor Bassey Otu has called for a strategic partnership with the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) to upgrade the Calabar airport. The upgrade is intended to prepare for a major international conference scheduled for 2026. The governor emphasized the need for improved infrastructure to support the event.
