Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has warned newly sworn-in local government chairmen that they will be removed if they fail to deliver votes in their areas. He stated that the party would use councillors to remove any chairman who does not secure victory for the party in his local government. The warning was issued during the swearing-in ceremony in Abakaliki.
