Recent statistics from the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) show growth in Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) connectivity in Nigeria during the second quarter of 2026. The number of licensed FTTH operators increased to 99, with fibre subscriptions rising to 319,735 in Q2 from 214,750 in Q1. Internet subscribers on core ISP networks reached 420,989, up from previous figures.
