President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has fulfilled his financial pledge to Nigeria's senior women's basketball team, D'Tigress, after their victory at the 2025 FIBA Women's AfroBasket. The National Sports Commission confirmed that players and officials received the promised cash rewards. The payments were the final component of the Presidential Rewards announced following their 78-64 win over Mali in the final.
