Dangote-NMDPRA LPG Dispute: Court Extends Interim Order Despite Jurisdiction Challenge

Justice Akintayo Aluko of the Federal High Court, Lagos, has extended an interim order from August 31, 2026, in the legal dispute between Dangote Petroleum Refinery and NMDPRA, pending the hearing of a motion on notice. The judge deferred arguments on the order's validity and jurisdiction until relevant applications are ripe. NMDPRA had urged the court to set aside the order. The case file has been sent to the registry for reassignment to a regular court.
