At least 24 people have died in Odigbo and Araromi-Obu communities in Ondo State after consuming a herbal liquid substance. Eight deaths were recorded in Araromi-Obu and 16 in Odigbo town, with several others hospitalized. The incident occurred on Saturday, and some victims died in their sleep or upon returning home. The deaths have caused tension and mourning in the communities.
