Prominent Nigerians, including former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, Bishop David Oyedepo, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, and the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Abimbola Owoade, joined political, religious, and traditional leaders to celebrate the 70th birthday of the National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Archbishop Francis Olubowale 'Wale' Oke. Bishop Oyedepo delivered the sermon at the special thanksgiving service, themed "Engaging the Power of Thanksgiving for a Greater Tomorrow." He charged Christians to make thanksgiving a lifestyle, stressing that gratitude to God was a pathway to greater grace, strength, and divine preservation. Oyedepo cited passages from Psalms 92 and 103, saying life, health, peace, and salvation are gifts from God for which believers must continually give thanks.
