Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has pledged comprehensive relief and recovery support for families and communities displaced by recent unrest in Lamurde Local Government Area. He made the commitment while receiving a delegation from the Bachama Kingdom, led by the Hama Bachama, Homun Daniel Ismaila Shaga, at the Government House in Yola. Fintiri stated that a government team would soon visit the affected communities to assess the extent of damage and determine immediate and long-term needs. He also announced plans to inaugurate a special committee to work directly with affected communities, assess destroyed property, and coordinate targeted financial and material assistance to help victims rebuild their lives and livelihoods. The governor reaffirmed his administration's commitment to protecting lives and property and maintaining lasting peace across Lamurde, Numan, and other areas.
